For product purchased through Nina Gässler Geilo Aktiv, hereafter "the provider".
These terms apply between the person making the reservation ("guest"/ "participant") and the "provider", Geilo Aktiv org. no 994728288, hereinafter collectively referred to as "the parties". The agreement is considered concluded when the guest has received a booking confirmation via email.
Geilo Aktiv's activities are outdoor activities under varying weather and surface conditions. The activities demand good health and a minimum of coordination/ skills.
Both provider and guest share responsibility to make sure that the activity can go ahead in a safe and appropriate manner.
The provider plans and facilitates a safe activity, including risk assessment, training, and necessary equipment.
Participants are obliged to:
Safety requirements must be met. Failure to comply may result in denied participation without a refund.
Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. No refund will be given in such cases.
Participants are financially responsible for damage to, or loss of equipment caused by negligent or intentional actions.

The booking is accepted and binding once payment has been registered.
Confirmation of your booking is sent to you via e-mail. This is also your ticket for the activity you have booked.
Cancellation 7 days prior to activity departure: refund of payment (minus 4% administration fee)
Cancellation 6-2 days before: 50% of payment is refunded
Cancellation less than 24h prior to activity departure: no refund.
For group bookings >15 people the cancellation deadlines are as follows:
Cancellation 3 weeks prior to activity departure: refund of payment (minus 4% administration fee)
Cancellation 20 – 7 days before: 50% of payment is refunded
Cancellation less than 7 days prior to activity departure: no refund.
No refund in case of the guest not showing up.
Our refund rules also apply in case a guest falls ill or can't get to the meeting point.
In this case we advise you to contact your travel insurance to cover the payment.
If Geilo Aktiv needs to cancel the activity you will get a 100% refund for the booked activity.
Geilo Aktiv is not responsible for any other travel costs, accommodation or any other expenses connected to the activity booking.
Please contact your travel insurance in this case.
Changes to the date/time must be notified and are only possible if they are agreed upon by both parties.
In case of unforeseeable circumstances outside of the provider's control – natural catastrophes or political events – an activity booking can be annulated without a refund.
If going ahead with the activity is deemed irresponsible due to severe weather conditions the time/ day may be moved or the activity may be altered.
If the activity has to be cancelled altogether you will get a refund.
The booking process requires that we collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses. These are only used to provide necessary information and to be able to contact you in case of changes.
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
The website uses cookies for functionality and analytics. No personal data is stored in cookies, and we do not share data with third parties.
