Canoe rental

Canoe rentals at Geilo Beach. 2 canoes easily accessible near the beach.

The canoes feature three seats each (ideal for three adults or two adults with one to two small children).

Duration: 1 day

Price includes: rental of canoe, paddles, and life jackets.

Age limit: Responsible participants must be over 18 years old. Children must be accompanied by adults.

Meeting Point: The canoes are conveniently located near the parking area of Geilo Beach. Paddles and life jackets are picked up/ delivered at an address along Hjalmevegen on the way to the beach.

Pickup/Delivery of Paddles and Life Jackets: Upon booking, you will receive a link with information about the pickup/ delivery of the canoe and the code for the lock.

Location of the canoes: Located directly west of the parking for Geilo Beach. The canoes are secured with a code lock. Refer to the attached photo and map for precise location details.

To find the canoes, head westward (to the right from the parking) from the parking area at Geilo Beach, along the gravel road by Ustedalsfjorden. The canoes can be easily launched from a small bay there.

Environmental Considerations: Ustedalsfjorden is a nesting area for many bird species, and we encourage visitors to exercise caution during the summer months by avoiding paddling into reeds and maintaining a respectful distance from bird nests.
